If you're having issues downloading "The Expanse: A Telltale Series" or certain parts of the game. Please follow the steps below for your respective platform.

For Steam Players:
- Close the Game - Ensure that "The Expanse: A Telltale Series" is not running.
- Access Your Library - Open Steam and click on "Library" at the top of the window.
- Game Properties - Find "The Expanse: A Telltale Series" in your list of games, right-click on it, and select "Properties."
- Check Game Files - In the Properties window, select "Local Files" from the left-hand menu, then click on "Verify integrity of game files" button in the center-right of the window.
This process will prompt Steam to check your game’s files and replace any missing or corrupted files with fresh ones. If you keep having to repeat this process please check your internet connection is stable and your drives aren't failing on your PC.
For Epic Games Launcher Players:
- Close the Game - Make sure that "The Expanse: A Telltale Series" is completely shut down.
- Navigate to Library - In the Epic Games Launcher, go to your "Library" on the left sidebar.
- Manage Game - Hover over "The Expanse: A Telltale Series" and click on the three small dots "..." that appear. Choose "Manage" from the dropdown menu.
- Verify Game - At the top of the management page, click on "Verify." This will initiate a check to ensure all game files are correctly installed.
For PlayStation Players:
If you're having issues activating new episodes please try the below steps.
If new episodes don’t download on PS4:
- In your library, click on the tile for The Expanse: A Telltale Series.
- Click on PlayStation Store button at the bottom.
- Move over to the “add-on” and select.
- From there, you should see the episodes available to download.
If new episodes don’t download on PS5:
- In your Game Library, click on the tile for The Expanse: A Telltale Series.
- There should be a tile on the right side showing the other episodes listed as “FREE.”
- From there, you should see the episodes available to download.
Alternative PS5 method:
- On Home Screen, highlight "The Expanse: A Telltale Series" game.
- Hit the Options button
- Select Manage Game Content
For Xbox Players:
If you're having issues activating new episodes please try the below steps:
- Select the Game Icon for The Expanse: A Telltale Series, press the Menu Button and select Manage game and add-ons.
- Select the top right tile for The Expanse: A Telltale Series.
- Select Manage Installation on Internal Storage.
- Episode 2 for example should display under the Add-ons section on the lower left of the screen.
- Check the check box for the episode and select Save Changes.
Experiencing an Achievement Glitch?
If you've noticed an achievement glitch after an hour of gameplay, don't worry. We're aware of this hiccup, and a patch is already in the pipeline to address it. In the meantime, a useful tip is to close and relaunch the game after an hour of play. This should allow you to continue earning achievements without interruption.
Persistent Issues? Consider a Reinstall
If the above steps haven’t cleared the hurdle, it might be time to attempt a fresh install of the game. While we understand that reinstalling is a bit of a chore, sometimes it's the most effective solution.
